Most of us are aware that USCIS, taking a positive measure towards not losing EB visa numbers, set Jun 1, 2006 as PD of India/China for Aug and possibly Sep 2008. This is entirely based on approvable I485 applications processed upto Jul 8, 2008 (except some numbers are available for Counsler Processing of I485).
Recent trends indicates direct HARD LUD, a CRIS mail for "Card Production". So it seems that in coming two months no guessing for EB2 because soft LUDs will be rare.

Hi,
I need some urgent advise. My wife has got a Biometrics appointment notice for 8th Jan. She is in India currently and scheduled to return on 24th Jan. We have already got the appointment rescheduled once (original notice was for 1st Dec). When we got it rescheduled we asked them to give us the next appointment after 1stFeb, but they ignored that part!
I wanted to know can I get it rescheduled again? Will it have any impact on her 485 application? Do I need to enclose any cover letter explaining why i need to reschedule? Any personal experiences with rescheduling the appointment more than once?

What am I missing, how would your suggestion be interpreted as being against non indians. I don't agree with it but I am not offended by it (as a non indian). Yet another misunderstood childish argument in the life of the IV forums.:D

Hi All,
I sent h1b extension application to california center on june 22nd and my application is still not approved. My current visa was valid until July 30th. I need to travel to India on Dec 10th due to urgent reasons . Please suggest what should I do
1. Can I travel while my extension is pending?
2. Can I raise a service request to speed up the processing?
2. or Upgrading to PP is the only option?
I do have EAD and advance parole through my husband's GC application. If I use parole for travel what happens to my H1b visa and GC application filed through my employer. My visa will still be valid or not?
Please help...

I belive you are good to go based on WES evaluation.
Just make sure your documentation shows 16yr education leaving MBA.

My I-94 extension (for L1B visa) was denied on Oct '08 and I returned in 4 days after they updated Denial status. Reason for denail is "lack of specialized knowledge". I am planning to apply for L1B again in next month (By showing additional certification). Can you please advice me
- is it fine to apply for visa again as it will be more then 6 months after it was denied
- Do I need to show the copy of denial notice during visa interview? Is there any thread available providing suggestions for those applying for visa again after it was denied earlier...

I filed my I-140 at NSC, but when I check case status online it says my I-140 was transfered to another Service center. It does not say which Service center though. My lawyer says he got all his mails form CSC, which means my I-140 is pending at CSC. Also my case number starts with WAC-XXX-XXXX, which also suggests that my case is pending at CSC. However, I am not convinced if this is correct because CSC does not publish processing times for I-140. Also, recently when I filed AR-11 for an address change I got an email from USCIS with the address of TSC on it. I would like to know if anyone is in the same boat and knows which service center there case is. I will appreciate your feedback.

yes. ur 140 is still valid. you don't need paystubs from company A, but its better to be working for company A the time you are filing 485 with them to make your case more authentic.

My friend opted for consular processing and he is now thinking it was a bad idea. He is in EB2, and his PD is sometime in 06 (not sure of the month)

i'm planning to bring my in-laws to USA and they have their visitor visa appointment next week. everything is set but i'm a littled worried about demonstrating financial stability to sponsor them.
i have paystubs & employment letter but the bank letter doesn't look so good. i live on check-to-check and my current balance is around 3K. you think i should take chance and go for the interview and hope VO doesn't ask for bank letter or doesn't mind the balance?
please help. any feedback is greatly appreciated.
